What is an ICCID and where do I find it?
An ICCID (Integrated Circuit Card Identifier) is the unique serial number of a SIM — including an eSIM. It is 19 or 20 digits long and identifies the SIM profile itself, not your phone (that is the IMEI) and not your phone number. Every eSIM you install has its own ICCID, and AviaeSIM support may ask for it to look up an order or check an installation. What the ICCID number means: the first two digits are always 89 (the code for telecommunications), the next digits identify the country and the mobile network that issued the SIM, and the rest is the individual serial number with a final check digit. The ICCID never changes for a given eSIM profile, even after you top it up. Where to find the ICCID of your AviaeSIM eSIM: open your AviaeSIM account, go to your eSIMs and open the eSIM — the ICCID is listed with its details. It is also printed in the installation email that carried your QR code. On an iPhone: Settings → General → About, then scroll to the section for your eSIM (it shows the plan name) — the ICCID is listed there. On Android: Settings → About phone → SIM status (Samsung: Settings → About phone → Status information → SIM card status), and pick the eSIM if the phone has more than one SIM. You only need the ICCID when contacting support, when a carrier asks which SIM profile is active, or when checking that the profile installed on your phone matches the plan you bought. You never need to type it in to activate an AviaeSIM eSIM — scanning the QR code does that.
